Nanosecond Pulsed Lasers – A Compact and Self-Contained Design

Available at wavelengths of 514.5nm or 1029nm, Nanosecond Laser modules operate with excellent pulse-to-pulse stability, extremely stable harmonic generation and very low jitter ensuring consistency of results. The series is available in a range of output powers and line-width options.

Based on the innovative MatchBox2 platform, with intelligent power electronics, the compact self-contained Nanosecond Lasers include USB power and USB control, intelligent monitoring and protection. High pulse energy and a compact package make these lasers suitable for various applications such as light-induced breakdown spectroscopy.

Key Applications

High peak power and short pulse duration lasers are based on passive Q-Switch laser technology, which has the benefit of fixed pulse energy. This is very convenient for a variety of applications ranging from material processing to LiDAR.

The high pulse energy and pulse-on-demand operation make the Nanosecond Lasers suitable for sorting, illumination, and pump-probe spectroscopy applications along with LIDAR, Lasers Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), flow cytometry and Raman spectroscopy applications.

Other potential applications include:

  • Pumping of Ti: Sapphire lasers
  • Raman shift excitation in H2 filled fibers
  • Supercontinuum generation
  • Deep UV generation

Integrated Optics is an ISO9001-2015 certified laser module designer and manufacturer. The company operates its own clean room and a unique semi-automated assembly method for manufacturing its laser modules. Its compact and efficient electronics and know-how, enable its innovative compact laser module platforms.
